Here are some samples of Panoramas and 360 degree virtual tours, put together with specialist equipment and professional software. Some are roughs, others assmebled with a great deal of care. Click on the links below to experience modest sized versions (although you'll need broadband to see them quickly).

The images can make great framed pictures (although you'll need plenty of space - the warehouse image is displayed as a 2m wide framed print in a boardroom). The interactive files make a superb 'virtual tour' of a building or landscape. They require Quicktime (on many PCs already, or available free here) although can also be produced as Shockwave components.
